This an opportunity to encourage students to express themselves by giving positive recognition for thier artistic efforts.
Reflections is an artistic competition and is a good addition to a students High School resume.

Submission are Due: October 25th. Entries can be turned in to the Reflections Art Boxes at the Library or the Kennel.
Background: Each year, the National PTA Reflections Program challenges students to create art inspired by a specific theme. Hundreds of thousands of students participate in the Reflections program through their local PTAs. These student winners go on to compete at the district/regional and state levels, with the best-of-the-best entries going to National PTA to be considered for a National Reflections award.
Each year, PTA gives the following awards at the national level:
Outstanding Interpretation Awards
Awards of Excellence
Awards of Merit
Any Bowie student is invited to create original art inspired by this year's theme and participate in the National PTSA project. All projects are judged. Some will move on to Council, some to State and some to National PTSA.
