http://www.austinisd.org/inside/initiatives/calendar_planning/index.phtml

TEXT BOOK COLLECTION

Attention Parents:  Bowie will begin collecting textbooks beginning May 19th through June 4th at 1:30pm.  If your Bowie student turns in all of their textbooks and or clears any obligations before June 4th at 1:30pm, they will receive a free gift and their name goes into a drawing for an Apple I-touch! Textbook collection will be located at the end of "A" wing.  The hours will be posted outside of teachers' classrooms along with the name of the textbook(s) and the price.   The average textbook for students is $65.00, so have your Bowie student start looking for them and get ready for May 19th through June 4th, so they can receive a gift and good luck on the Apple I-Touch.

Fitness Testing

Attention all students who have not been fitness tested this year:
Senate Bill 530 requires a Fitnessgram physical fitness assessment administered to all students in grades 3 through 12. Testing will begin on Monday, May 19th thru 21st. Each student will be tested in the following areas:

And the pacer
The Fitnessgram demonstrations were shown this week during Advisory and can also be view viewed at any time on campus at the BDTV webcast address: http://podcast:16080/weblog/bdtv/
