BOWIE HIGH SCHOOL PTSA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The James Bowie PTSA will be awarding $500 scholarships to four Bowie
Seniors who plan to attend a certificate program, trade school,
two-year college or four-year college program.
One of the $500 scholarships will be awarded to a Bowie Senior who plans to attend a certificate program, trade school, or two-year college.

The PTSA scholarship committee will accept applications from mid February through Friday, March 21, 2008.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduating Senior of Bowie High School
- Cumulative minimum GPA of 2.75
- Eligible students or their parents/guardians MUST BE members of the James Bowie PTSA by Friday, March 7, 2008
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:
- Bowie PTSA Scholarship Application
DIRECTIONS:
- Download the scholarship application from austinisd.org or from bowieptsa.org.
- Follow the directions on the application and complete all portions (I, II, III, IV & V). The essay portion of the application must be typed and stapled to the back of the completed application.
- When your application is complete, make sure that you, your parent/guardian, and your counselor has signed your application.
- The completed
and signed application must be turned into the Counselor’s
Office by Friday, March 21, 2008.

Scholarship winners will be notified by late April, and the scholarships will be presented at the May PTSA meeting.
