Student Parking Permit Information

Requirements

To receive a Parking Permit you will be required to

  • present proof of current Insurance
  • present current Driver’s License
  • present current Vehicle Registration
  • complete a Bowie Parking Registration form and $20.00. Student checks will NOT be accepted

8:00 – 8:15AM (Mon. –  Fri.)
4:35 – 4:50 PM (Tue. & Thur.)

Placement of Permits

Permits are to be permanently attached to the registered vehicle, and placed in the left hand corner of the windshield, no more than ½” above the inspection and registration stickers. Parking Permits CANNOT be transferred between cars. The parking lot security monitor may remove reapplied or improperly applied permits.

Free trade

You are allowed one Free Trade per year, to receive a new permit; you must return the old permit with a new completed Bowie Registration form. If the old permit is not returned the cost will be $20.00.

Campus Parking

You may only park in the lot for which your permit is issued. Seniors only may park in either the Bethany Church parking lot or the BHS student lot. 10th graders with BHS parking permits may only park in the Bethany lot.

A vehicle parked in an unauthorized lot is subject to towing. No student may park in the Faculty Lot without special permission (behind “B” to the Baseball Field). Parking in Faculty, Visitor, Handicap or any Red Fire Zones is subject to IMMEDIATE TOWING. A warning is not required prior to a vehicle being towed.

Pulled permits

Purchase of a new permit requires Assistant Principal approval.

Temporary Parking Permits

Temporary Permits are issued during the Parking Permit Hours in the Permit/ID Office. In order to receive a Temporary Permit you must have a Bowie Student Permit registered to you and will need to know the License Plate number of the vehicle you are driving for the day.

One Parking Permit

You are only allowed one Parking Permit. To purchase a second permit you must receive special permission from Mr. Kane.
