Student Parking Permit Information for Juniors and seniors

To receive a parking permit, students will be required to have:

• proof of current insurance
• current driver's license
• current vehicle registration
• Parking Registration Form
• $20.00 Student checks will not be accepted.
• Seniors wishing to leave campus at lunch will need a Senior Contract Form signed by a parent or guardian.
  

Parking Permit Hours

Bowie student parking permits will be sold in the Permit/ID Office (across from the Nurse's office):

• Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.
• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:35 p.m. - 4:50 p.m.
  

Placement of Permit

Permits are to be permanently attached to the registered vehicle, no more than 1/2" above the inspection and registration stickers. Parking permits cannot be transferred between cars! The parking lot security monitor may remove reapplied permits.

Free Trade

Students are allowed one free trade per school year. To receive the new permit, you must return the old permit along with a new completed Parking Registration Form - if not returned the cost will be $20.00.

Parking Warnings

A warning is not required prior to a vehicle being towed.

Pulled Permits

Purchase of a new permit requires assistant principal approval.

Temporary Parking Permits

Temporary permits are issued during the Parking Permit Hours in the Permit/ID Office. In order to receive a temporary permit you must have:

• a Bowie Student Permit registered to you
• the license plate number of the vehicle you are driving for the day
  

Campus Parking

You may only park in the lot for which your permit is issued (Student Lot). Parking in an unauthorized lot is subject to towing. No student may park in the Faculty Lot without special permission (behind "B" to the Baseball Field). Parking in Faculty, Visitor, Handicap or any red Fire Zones is subject to IMMEDIATE TOWING.

One Parking Permit

Students are only allowed one parking permit. To receive a second permit you must receive special permission from the principal.
