Our school newspaper, The Dispatch, has been nominated for its first National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker award in nearly 20 years! Also,The Dispatch was recognized by NSPA as an All-American paper with 4 marks of distinction for publication excellence.
Varsity Tennis traveled to Austin High this past Wednesday night and delivered a resounding 16-3 victory. Varsity Tennis is now 3-0 in District play, with a combined win total of 59 matches to only 4 for their opponents.
The Bowie Speech and Debate team kicked off the season with a double sweepstakes win at the 2018 Hendrickson/Pflugerville swing tournament.

Congrats to this year's King and Queen of Springs! Santi Montesinos and Carolyn Myers were the winners on our Bowie Swim and Dive team after running from Deep Eddy to Barton Springs and then swimming 1/4 mile.
Graphic Design student Julia Krebs has given us all a little "food for thought" with her inspiration for the design of the new AISD food truck! Julia contributed to the design last May. Great work!
