All State Band:

​ Congratulations to our four All State Band Students! They represented the Bowie Band with musical excellence last weekend at the TMEA annual convention in San Antonio! Jonas Lowe 3rd Chair Tuba in the State, Philharmonic Orchestra, Sarah Brown - 6th Chair Oboe in the State, Philharmonic Orchestra, Aaron Owens - 10th Chair French Horn in the Symphonic Band, Jake Nix - 18th Chair Trumpet in the Symphonic Band

Wrestling: The Boys and Girls wrestling teams competed in the UIL Region 4 wrestling tournament and had a great showing! Medalists and State qualifiers are: Aylen Vivar - Regional Champion at 102 lbs and most dominant wrestler in the tournament. Aylen pinned all four of her opponents in the first minute of each of her matches! Vincent Villanueva - Regional Runner-Up at 132 lbs, Grant Faulkner - 4th Place at 113 lbs, Cory Silguero - 4th Place at 170 lbs, Jaime Silva - 5th Place at 152 lbs.

Swim & Dive: UIL State Results... great job Dawgs! Women's 200 Medley Relay--7th place Arianna Lax, Brooke Simpson, Caroline Myers, Delaney Anthony. Men's 1 M Spring board Alex Popper 6th. Women's 100 Butterfly Arianna Lax 8th. Men's 500 Freestyle Gavin Moak 13th. Women's 400 Freestyle Relay--11th Delaney Anthony, Brooke Simpson, Kaitlyn McDaniel, Arianna Lax (photo pending)

Silver Stars: Many awards were earned at the American Dance/ Drill Lone Star State Championship including: Solo Finalists - Gabby D'Angelo (5th Runner Up), Chloe Borsch (3rd Runner Up), Kristin Hauck (State Champion & PERFECT Score), State Champion Small Ensemble - Trio (Case/Shymkiw/Hauck) and 3rd Place Team Overall. Girls Soccer: All three girls soccer teams beat Del Valle. The freshmen won 3-0, JV won 1-0, and the Varsity won 5-0 with Kiara Gonzales scoring a hat-trick (3 goals) and Hannah Erb scored 2 goals.
