Bowie Cares gets snacks, food, hygiene items, and other essentials to Bowie students who need them, working directly with the counseling department, teachers, and support staff.

Without it, teachers and staff often buy these things with their own money.
Bowie Cares is how the Bowie community takes that off their shoulders.

It started in the 2018-19 school year and has grown to support the whole campus. Items are stocked in counselors' offices and in teacher desk drawers across the building, kept full by wishlist orders, front office dropoffs, donations, and the occasional campus-wide drive.

IF YOUR STUDENT NEEDS SOMETHING

Bowie Cares is here for any Bowie student. There is no application and no cost. Talk to your counselor or any teacher, or reach out to the counseling office.
