Bowie Blast - Week of Sept 1
Read every week for updates on forensics, speech/debate, theater, choir, orchestra, band, art, culinary, cross country and many, many more! We are proud of our Bulldogs and encourage teachers and coaches to submit news to Mr. Robinson's office! We publish information received by administration via Bowie faculty and staff.
Tennis: Bowie Varsity Tennis got off to a strong start this year by defeating Lehman and Hays High Schools the weekend of August 23. Bowie Tennis won by a combined score of 25 matches to 1.
Volleyball: The varsity volleyball team competed in the San Marcos tournament the weekend of August 23. They made it to the championship and finished second! Great job!
On Tuesday, August 27, the team had a BIG win over Round Rock High School!

District play opened Friday, August 30 against Westlake. Go DAWGS!
Football: Bowie opened their football season against Pflugerville last week by winning all of their games!
Freshmen Red defeated Pflugerville 20-0
Freshmen Black defeated Pflugerville 28-0
JV defeated Pflugerville 28-0
Varsity defeated Pflugerville 42-21

Wrestling: Bowie Wrestling would like to welcome all boys and girls to join the James Bowie Wrestling Program. After school practice will start Tuesday, September 3rd until approximately 6:30 pm in room G-112. You must have a current physical and all required paperwork completed before you are allowed to practice. Stop by Coach Holmes room (Sage 2) or Coach Moreno's room (B-113) for more information about joining the wrestling program. We look forward to a successful wrestling season. GO DAWGS!
