This year, the theme was Heroes Around Me. The following students received the Award of Excellence in their category and advanced to the Austin Council of PTAs Reflections art contest in January. Bowie Blast -- Week of May 12
Ultimate Frisbee: The team is State Champs for the 2nd year in a row! Bowie Ultimate fielded two teams at the state tournament in Plano, 1 Mixed and 1 Men’s. Our mixed (co-ed) team won their division. Marching Band: Several Bowie students competed nationally and earned a spot in a World Class Marching Band. Natalie Stachew will be joining the Santa Clara Vanguard, Aaron Owens will join the Bluecoats, and Bryce Roddenberry will be joining the Boston Crusaders. Look for them in
