Student Earns Gold Medal… Congratulations to Bowie Sophomore, Noah Casarez, who won a g old medal at the State Special Olympics Bowling Competition in Austin. You make us proud! District Wrestling Results… The wrestling teams competed in the District 14-6A Wrestling tournament at the Delco Center. Swim and Dive Are State Bound… Nine Bowie students are going to State- this is the highest number we have taken to State since 2003 when we were competing in 5A! Our Boys’ Team placed 10th overall in the Region and Girls placed 9th overall. Congratulations to the following athletes: Diana Dunn placed 1st in 200IM and 2nd in the 200FR, qualifying her for state in both; Gavin Moak placed 2nd in the 500FR, qualifying him for state; Alekzandr Popper placed 1st in dive, qualifying

Orchestra & Guitar UIL Solo & Ensemble Results Bowie had 23 Orchestra Students participate at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition for Orchestra and Guitar. Sixteen students earned a First Division Rating of Superior on their solo with 4 of the 16 qualifying for Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest which takes place over Memorial Day Weekend.
