Bowie Blast -- Week of Jan. 26

Speech & Debate: Over the holiday weekend, members of Bowie’s Speech and Debate team competed at the McNeil TFA State Qualifier. Our new state qualifiers from the competition were Alyssa Shumaker in Dramatic Interpretation, Kamryn Morales in Dramatic Interpretation, and Connor Snow in Humorous Interpretation.

Ashlyn Dahl was a 6A state finalist at the State UIL Congressional Tournament last week. Great job to our Speech & Debate team members!! Way to go!!

Bowie Cheer: A huge congrats to our Bowie High School Cheerleading team as they competed at the UIL State Championship in Fort Worth over the holiday weekend. They came in 23rd place out of 98 teams! Congratulations Bowie Cheer!

Boys Soccer: Last week, our boys soccer teams played Hays and went won all of their games! JVB 5-0, JBA 4-0 and Varsity 2-1. Way to go, DAWGS!!

FFA: A huge shout out to our Bowie FFA students!! Over the holiday weekend, several students competed at the Travis County Youth Show. Bowie students placed in several categories which included Grand and Reserve Champion winners! Great job!!!
