We are proud of our Bulldogs and encourage teachers and coaches to submit news to Mr. Robinson's office!

Wrestling: Three of our four athletes that competed in the UIL State Wrestling Tournament earned medals in the state finals and all four won matches in the toughest tournament of the year. Sophomore sensation Olivia Moreno finished her sophomore season with a perfect record and is the 2021 UIL STATE CHAMPION at 119 pounds! She is the first female wrestler in Bowie history to complete a perfect season and the first female state champion in school history. Senior Tye Frnka beat a two-time state champion in come from behind fashion to earn a bronze medal in the finals! Joshua Moreno earned a 6th place medal after fighting back from a second-round loss in one of the toughest weight classes in the state (138).

Softball: The Lady Dawgs defeated the Hays Rebels 6-3 last Monday to win the District! Emma Solis had solid pitching while Anya German hit a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the 7th to seal the win for Bowie. Art: Five Bowie artists participated in the virtual State VASE Art competition. Ana Mairena, Elissa Wechsler, Mina Lopez Ball, John Walton and Miles Levesque. Megan won both of her matches the first day of the competition but ended up losing in the Semi-Finals and settled for a hard-earned 4th place finish.
