Bowie Blast - Week of Oct 24

​ Tennis On Oct 7, the Bowie Tennis Team defeated Austin High School 10-3 and finished 3rd in District 26-6A. Region Orchestra Audition Results Bowie Orchestra students participated in TMEA Region 18 Orchestra Auditions. After many hours of practice, the following Bowie Orchestra students won a spot in the orchestra this year: Rauno Meneses-Halmari, 1st chair bass, Hannah Rother, 1st chair harp, Grace Gum, 2nd chair viola, Will Gum, 4th chair cello, Milo Chrudimsky, 4th chair viola and Chloe Yoo, 5th chair 2nd violin. Region Choir results 22 Bowie choir students participated in the TMEA Region 18 Choir Auditions here at Bowie High School. 19 students will go on to participate in the Region 18 Honor Choir and advance to Pre-Area Auditions in November. All students that made it in worked countless hours outside of the school day in rehearsals to prepare for this competition.
